From the archives

I received some Mitford paraphernalia for my birthday, and being the pack rat that I am, I immediately turned to the photographs. Here are some scans (and unseen photos) from Debo's memoirs Wait For Me.

If you do copy the photographs please credit The Mitford Society and/or my name in the file.

The Mitford Girls

As you may or may not know, I run The Mitford Society  over on facebook, and in doing so I am always on the look-out for rare photographs of the girls. I found these delightful scans in Decca Mitford's memoir A Fine Old Conflict, and the other scans in a biography of Diana Mitford by Jan Dalley. Anyone is welcome to save the photographs but please do credit them appropriately.
